WEEK OF NOVEMBER 16, 2020 •
The end of the year is nearby and the Spotlight team is heading into the holidays with a bang! This week, our team’s dedication and media relationships resulted in multiple features – both television and digital. We secured not one, but two features on Fox LA’s “The Megan Pormer Show” one with functional medicine pioneer and key opinion leader Elroy Vojdani, MD, IFMCP, and the other with Athenix Body Sculpting Institute’s CEO James Haefner. Each profile reached more than 5 million households across Southern California. Additionally, as a result of our strong media relationship we also secured an online giveaway on Extra TV for our client, and sustainable skincare brand, Amethyst Skincare. This placement put Amethyst in front of more than 1.42 million readers. Our Spotlight marketing and social teams have also been working on building the consumer-facing website for medical aesthetic treatment, Renuva, for their January launch.
WEEK OF OCTOBER 19, 2020 •
The sun is not the only thing shining bright these past few weeks! The Spotlight PR team has been hard at work securing multiple top-tier placements, while our marketing team has been creating content to keep our clients shinning. Beginning this month we secured a placement for functional medicine pioneer and key opinion leader Elroy Vojdani, MD, IFMCP, with MindBodyGreen, placing him in front of more than 3.7 million readers. Our Spotlight PR team also secured a major placement with Buzzfeed for celebrity cosmetic dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman, placing him in front of over 112 million readers, and received additional exposure for our client, Renuva, on the aesthetic simulator app Aesthetic EDIT (ADIT), placing the new treatment in front of 136,000 readers, and 13.1 thousand Instagram followers. Our team also continued on to secure a huge feature with Yahoo! LifeStyle for the Athenix Body Sculpting Institute, highlighting their social campaign #AthenixGivesBack, placing them in front of more than 3.5 billion readers. Our Spotlight marketing team works tirelessly to build brand content for our clients. This past weekend our team shot an educational video shoot for our client Renuva, which we’ll be editing and sharing soon!
WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 28, 2020 •
The Spotlight team was in full swing this week, helping our clients shine in the spotlight. Our marketing and PR teams have been hard at work securing a major online feature with the wellness website MindBodyGreen, for functional medicine pioneer and key opinion leader Elroy Vojdani, MD, IFMCP, placing him in front of more than 3 million readers. As a full-service communications agency, we understand the huge impact social media plays for our clients, and through our PR efforts, we secured a social media post on international supermodel Megan Pormer’s Instagram for the Athenix Body Sculpting Institute’s #AthenixGivesBack campaign, placing the campaign in front of her more than 2 million followers. After a tremendous amount of planning and preparation, we ended the month by hosting our first live, virtual media event for our client Renuva. The event was exclusively attended by top beauty editors where they got an intimate look as Dr. Leif Rogers performed the Renuva treatment.
WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 14, 2020 •
The Spotlight clients continue to shine due to our team’s continued persistence and dedication. Functional medicine pioneer and key opinion leader Elroy Vojdani, MD, IFMCP, saw continued exposure from a previous story in Reader’s Digest. The story was repurposed by MSN Canada, placing him in front of an additional 7.17 million readers. Dr. Vojdani was also featured in Glam online, giving him exposure to an additional 50 thousand readers. Celebrity cosmetic dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman was busy shooting an interview with international supermodel Megan Pormer for her upcoming new show on Fox LA. The Spotlight PR team also distributed press boxes for our client Renuva as a creative way to introduce Renuva, as a member of the good fat family, to top tier beauty editors while keeping the new treatment top of mind for others. The Spotlight marketing team has also completed a tremendous project with one of the client’s key opinion leaders, and the aesthetics platform, Real Self.
WEEK OF JULY 13, 2020 •
It’s summer time, which means more sun and more shine! Spotlight’s clients were shining brighter than ever these past weeks as a result of our PR team’s consistent efforts. First off, is an amazing feature with Reader’s Digest Best Health for functional medicine pioneer and key opinion leader Elroy Vojdani, MD, IFMCP. This article was re-circulated from a past piece we secured last year, placing Dr. Vojdani in front of an additional 483,700 readers. Our Spotlight team also worked closely with producers of NBC's "California Live" for a segment on the new aesthetic treatment, Renuva, placing the brand in front of more than 500,000 viewers over multiple regional NBC news channels across California. Ending the week, is the feature of our client, Dr. Bill Dorfman's non-profit organization The LEAP Foundation, in The Wave Los Angeles' online newspaper placing the organization and him in front of more than 298,000 readers. Also this week, the Spotlight marketing team has been hard at work creating the perfect compact mirror to gift Renuva patients as well as creating a new brand look and logo for Seraph Medical.
WEEK OF JUNE 22, 2020 •
As a result of the Spotlight team’s close relationships with health and beauty editors, our PR team secured multiple features this week for our clients in print and digital media. We are proud to have secured a feature, for Amethyst Skincare and founder Nicole Simpson, in the May/June Hope issue of Modern Luxury’s Angeleno Magazine, placing the brand and Nicole in front of 13 million readers. Functional medicine pioneer and key opinion leader Elroy Vojdani, MD, IFMCP, also saw major success in an online feature with The Beet. This article put Dr. Vojdani in front of more than 268,000 readers but was also picked up by the digital sites for two radio stations – 99.5 WKDQ in Indiana and 94.5 PST in New Jersey – placing him in front of an additional 301,000 readers. As proven, features we have secured have a way of re-circulating, as a Reader’s Digest piece we secured for Dr. Vojdani last year was picked up by MSN Lifestyle this week, placing him in front of an additional one million readers. Ending the week, we were able to get our hands on a long-awaited print issue we secured for Profile by Rob Lowe with Bleu Magazine, which placed the affordable luxury brand in front of over 1.25 million readers. The Spotlight team didn’t stop there, as our entire team, led by our marketing director, has been working tirelessly to complete a marketing plan for a global medical aesthetics device brand that is expanding into North America and Asia Pacific.
WEEK OF MAY 4, 2020 •
The Spotlight team proves weekly that our commitment to our clients is our top priority! This has been a busy past two weeks for our team, securing multiple online features for our clients, Amethyst Skincare, functional medicine pioneer and key opinion leader Elroy Vojdani, MD, IFMCP, and celebrity cosmetic dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman. We secured three different features with Amethyst Skincare placing the brand, and founder Nicole Simpson in front of more than 35 million readers. Our team also garnered a major international placement for Dr. Bill Dorfman this week with GQ UK placing him in front of more than 1 million online readers. As a result of a previous placement and interview with Readers Digest, Dr. Elroy Vojdani’s quote was repurposed for a different story on MSN Canada, placing him in front of an additional 450,000 readers. We love seeing how our client’s media interviews are reused multiple times! Our Spotlight marketing team continues to be hard at work rebranding Seraph Medical, which included the creation of a new logo and website.
WEEK OF APRIL 13, 2020 •
In the midst of a pandemic, the Spotlight team continues to work at full steam to ensure success for our clients. The Spotlight PR team secured two major features for our client, Amethyst Skincare and founder Nicole Simpson. A profile feature on Nicole with Authority Magazine and Angeleno Magazine placed the brand in front of a combined readership of more than 83 million. Our team continued to also secure two radio features and an online placement for functional medicine pioneer and key opinion leader Elroy Vojdani MD, IFMCP. Fox News Radio and Food Talk for Health put Dr. Vojdani in front of more than 36 million listeners. While an online feature with Parade put him in front of an additional 7 million readers. Meanwhile, The Spotlight marketing team has recently been brought on board by Seraph Medical, to develop and execute a brand strategy.
WEEK OF FEBRUARY 24, 2020 •
Each week the Spotlight team demonstrates our deep commitment to our clients, and this week was no different. The Spotlight PR team worked hard to secure a major feature for the founder of Amethyst Skincare, Nicole Simpson, on the wellness website, Mind Body Green. This placement put Amethyst and Nicole in front of more than 4.1 million readers. We are extremely proud of the two different placements we secured for Profile by Rob Lowe this month – a new podcast feature with Adam Mendler’s “Thirty Minute Mentors,” and a segment with Extra Tv - placing Profile in front of more than 1.5 million viewers. The work didn’t stop there, as we also placed board-certified dermatologist, and celebrity beauty expert, Dr. Anna Guanche in a feature on the beauty website, Byrdie - placing her in front of more than 13.26 million readers.
WEEK OF FEBRUARY 10, 2020 •
This week marks another successful week in the spotlight for our clients! The Spotlight PR team secured multiple placements for Profile by Rob Lowe which includes a three and half minute segment on Fox 11 LA. With that and the two other placements in Yahoo! Entertainment and Women’s Wear Daily, Profile by Rob Lowe was placed in front of a combined viewership and readership of more than 19 million. We secured a tremendous segment for ophthalmologist Dr. Kerry Assil on Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family, which placed him in front of more than 600 thousand viewers. The Spotlight PR team also secured a significant and impactful segment for Novick Cardiac Alliance – with founder, Dr. William Novick – on the Emmy Winning Daytime talk show, “The Doctors” placing him in front of 2 million viewers. The Spotlight marketing team was also busy this week directing and producing a Renuva photoshoot, that captured the new face of Renuva so that original photography can soon be used for all social platforms and the website for launch.
